Well it has been awhile since I posted a blog. Our power cord to our second computer died so we had to order a new one. But that has not been the only excitement in my life. My girls have now hit 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 consecutively and boy it is true about what people say. It is not the terrible twos it is the terrible 1 1/2 and 2 1/2's. Every night we have a screaming and crying match trying to vie for Mommy's attention. It can be quite exhausting.
However, tonight they made my life a little easier by being cute and sitting on the floor right next to each other sharing a snack and just relaxing watching tv for a little while. It was so cute I had to take a picture.
Most of my week was dealing with sick children. They both had the croupe at the same time. The baby woke up in the middle of the night and could not breath. Scared me to death. I got the nebulizer going and luckily by the time the squad arrived she was breathing. I never want to go through that again. I found out I probably should have taken her out in the cold. Ever had a time as a parent where you felt total helpless. We were both running in all different directions trying to figure out what to do. You would think with this being the second child you would know everything. Not so.
Well that is all for this episode of real momdom.

First Post Introduction
Well what to say. My life is hectic. Probably no more hectic than other moms but none the less hectic to me.
A little about me and my family: I am a mom of two girls ages 17 months and 30 months. I have been married for 4 1/2 years. My husband and I met on line through a chat room. We are from two different cultures as well as religions but it has worked out well so far (Caucasian-American, Asian-Indian). My girls are a joy and my husband is a great father and husband.
I work as a geeky accountant and my husband is a geeky business analyst. We are hoping that I might become a stay at home mom within the next year if everything goes right. I would love to have some more time with my babies before they go off to school and then be there for them in the afternoons after they start school.
Well enough about me. I hoping to make this blog about real life but also make it somewhat humorous. I am far from a true humorist but I am willing to give it a try. I try as a mom to find the humor in momdom. So I hope that I may have some readers that will enjoy that humor with me. I will try and post as often as I can.
